FAL 2014 Q1 Finish #3

I have finished quilting and binding this quilt from my original list. The pattern is called Scrappy Mountain Majesties by Bonnie K. Hunter. I know my husband really likes this one and the best part? I used only scraps to make the top! The top measures 58" x 76", so it is a nice size!  I did have to buy some backing but I got it on sale for $6/yard!

I have not named it, as I find that very hard to do. I think I still have enough scraps to make another, but I would like to perhaps try a two-color scheme, either blue and low volume or red and low volume. My grandson even likes this one because of the blues.

FAL 2014 Q1 Finish #2

I finished making a back, basting, quilting and binding my gray herringbone quilt about a month ago. I really like this one, as it is very simple. It measures 58" x 68" and is made with a Moda Bella gray (not sure which one) and Moda Bella White #97. It is bound with a yellow polka dot and backed with the number print from Ikea. I really like this one as it is very simple, kind of my style. Here is my original list. . .
