FAL 2014 Q1 Finish #1

I started with the easiest one to finish, #5 from my list last week. It was a table runner that I started years ago, and I am not sure why I never finished, except that I did not have the backing. I did have the binding made though, so that was a bonus! Here is a picture of it:
It is even in time for this Valentine's Holiday!

I am almost done with my #2 on the list, a gray herringbone quilt. It should be done by this coming Monday.

Happy sewing!

I was not sure how to link back to the first post, but here it is.

Finish Along 2014 Q1

I am trying to get a new blog up and running so I can participate in this year's Finish Along hosted by Katy from The Littlest Thistle. I need to list my W.I.P./U.F.O.'s that I have in my sewing room, so here goes.

 1. My quilt top from the Craftsy B.O.M. 2012. This top is done, the back is made, it just needs to be basted and quilted. Since I am feeling more confident in my FMQing now this should be a possibility.

2. Gray Herringbone quilt top: I saw this on Pinterest and made my own pattern, I have the back made, just needs to be basted and quilted.
3. I saw this on Bloglovin', but I can't remember from who, and I made my own version. I have the backing for this too, just needs to be basted and quilted.
4. My version of Bonnie Hunter's Scrappy Mountain Majesties. You can find this pattern on her website under the Free Pattern Tab. It needs a back yet, and of course to be basted and quilted.
5. A Valentine's table runner that I have had the top made for 4 years, just got the backing last week, and it is basted. Just needs to be quilted and bound. This should be an easy and quick finish.
I think this should be enough to get me started! I have lots more quilts in the works, but that list will have to wait for the Q2!
